PRE-PURCHASE

If you have not yet purchased your first bicycle, or whether you are thinking to change or to purchase a new bicycle for the same or another discipline, we recommend that you carry out a PRE-PURCHASE BIKE FIT. The Wahoo KICKR BIKE allows to simulate any type of brand, model and frame geometry, as well as to completely customize all the contact points.

PRE-FIT

The first stage of this process comprises an Initial Interview, in which the Clinical and Training History, as well as Competitive and/or Recreational Objectives, are examined and discussed. Following this is a Musculoskeletal & Postural Assessment, with Diagnosis of Leg Length Differences, Movement Patterns, Asymmetries, Strength, Flexibility, Mobility, Muscle Recruitment, etc.

FOOT-SHOE-PEDAL
INTERFACE

It consists on the Stabilization and Activation of the Foot Complex, with Analysis and Measurement of the Structure of the Feet, Arch Support, Lower Kinematic Chain Alignment, Leg Length Difference Correction and Cleat Setup .

KINETIC AND KINEMATIC ANALYSIS

The 3D Motion Capture System allows to obtain a Synchronous Dynamic Record of Four Perspectives, for qualitative and quantitative visualization and examination of the joints. In this way, it is possible to optimize the adjustment of the bicycle, the transmission of force, promoting greater biomechanical efficiency and fluidity.

Saddle pressure mapping

The GP BIKE software provides a dynamic saddle pressure mapping. This module allows to perform the Quantification of Pressure (Maximum, Average & Hot Spots), the Assessment of the Pattern of the Center of Pressure (Longitudinal, Transverse & Stability Ratio), the Identification of Saddle Loading (Anterior vs. Posterior) and to guide the decision-making process in choosing the most suitable saddle.

feet pressure mapping

The GP CYCLE software allows you dynamically record the pressure on the sole of the foot, inside the athlete's shoe, through the Quantification of Pressure (Maximum, Average & Hot Spots) and the Analysis of the Pattern of the Center of Pressure (Position, Dimension & Quality). The Force-Time Plots are also analyzed, making it possible to eliminate dead-spots, detect differences between the left and right legs and maximize energy efficiency.

LEOMO TYPE-S

With the integration of Movement Performance Indicators (MPI’s) provided by the LEOMO TYPE-S, it is possible to perform a Pedaling Quantification (Dead-Spot Score, Angle of Attack & Region of Application of Force ), a Study of the Pelvic Complex (Pelvic Angle, Sagittal & Axial Pelvic Rotation, Anteversion/Retroversion) and Trunk Evaluation (Rotation & Axial Orientation).

follow-up

There are some additional fine adjustments that may be necessary to conduct when moving from the controlled environment of the studio to the terrain. So, the feedback of the athlete, communication and interaction after each training session is essential for Monitoring the Adaptation Period to all the biomechanical changes that were made.
